My name is Adil and I’m a self taught Machine Learning Engineer.

These days I’m interested in: Mechanistic Interpretability, Model Internals and Distributed Deep Learning.

I’m currently making open source contributions over at the TransformerLens library and am also reading the book Deep Learning at Scale by Suneeta Mall.

I also have plans for a few articles. And that’s where this website comes in!

Motivation

I envision this substack to be the home of articles on the following topics:

• Technical breakdowns (primarily related to Deep Learning)

• Thoughts on learning itself

• Thoughts on the tech industry (jobs, etc)

• General reflections

• My journey and things that you could learn from it

Above all, this will be the home of things I wish I knew when I was getting started.
